چکیده
tumours of growth plate origin. Although vascular complications of these are rare, the most commonly reported is a popliteal artery pseudoaneurysm. Most pseudoaneurysms have been related to femoral osteochondromas, with only 3 previous reports of a popliteal pseudoaneurysm secondary to a tibial exostosis. We report a case of a popliteal pseudoaneurysm secondary to a tibial osteochondroma and discuss its etiology and management.

False aneurysm of the anterior tibial artery following total knee arthroplasty.
We report a case of false aneurysm involving a branch of the anterior tibial artery following total knee arthroplasty, which presented as an enlarging swelling over the antero-lateral aspect of the leg. False aneurysms are a rare complication of total knee replacement and most of those that do occur arise from the popliteal artery. The swelling was investigated and diagnosed as a false aneurysm...
متن کاملPopliteal vein thrombosis associated with femoral osteochondroma and popliteal artery pseudoaneurysm.
Deep vein thrombosis is a common condition thought to be caused by impaired venous blood flow or hypercoagulable blood states. However, often no predisposing cause can be found. We describe a deep vein thrombosis formed in association with femoral osteochondroma and popliteal artery pseudoaneurysm. It is an interesting combination that has only been described once before.

متن کاملIntraoperative rupture of popliteal artery pseudoaneurysm secondary to distal femur osteochondroma: case report and review of the literature
Vascular complications from osteochondroma are rare and include essentially stenosis, occlusion, and pseudoaneurysms. The authors report an original case of intraoperative rupture of undiagnosed popliteal artery pseudoaneurysm during resection surgery for a distal femur osteochondroma.
متن کاملThrombosed Popliteal Artery Pseudoaneurysm as Herald of Tibial Osteochondroma
